The Back9 Tournament Series is returning for its next seasonal installment: The 2020 Back9 Winter Classic. The weather outside may be terrible, but our conditions inside the Back9 Parlor are always perfect, and we’re looking forward to another phenomenal day on the simulators. The Back9 Team is pleased to announce its first seasonal virtual golf tournament: The 2019 Fall Invitational @ Back9 Parlor. We are scheduled for the morning of Sunday, November 10 and are now taking team registrations for what is sure to be a raucous morning of golf, excellence, and sportsmanship. Grab a partner and register your team ASAP as space is limited to just 24 teams!

Back9 Parlor will open early at 7:30am and the event will feature 2 tee times: 8am or 10:30am. Available tee times are very limited, so please register ASAP to get your spot!

Formatting will be 2-man Alternate Shot Stroke Play, with both Gross and Net divisions. Warm breakfast and cold Bloody Mary’s served to all players. And as you’d expect, there will also be great prizes and bragging rights to be valiantly won! 

Space is limited to a maximum of 24 teams (12 per tee time), so register for free ASAP.

]]> April 11, 2018 – What a day to remember in the life of Back9 Parlor! Led by the voice-stylings of legendary Seattle sports radio DJ Dave “Softy” Mahler and Hugh Millen, Back9 Parlor played host to a live and spirited broadcast of the drive-time KJR show for the opening day of The Masters, 2019. Our patrons and staff were treated to a rare delicacy of observing sports radio mastery in-person. Great radio, a ton of giveaways, customer KP contests against Soft, and a general jovial extravoganza. We’re very thankful for the great promotion and successful event. Thank you KJR. Thank you Back9 friends and family!

We can’t thank Softy himself enough for being such a great friend and promoter of the Back9. We’re heard so many great compliments of his description and promotion of Back9, but further his interactions with our guests and staff has been nothing short of phenomenal. He’s a real class act all the way around. Besides giving away great prizes on-air to Back9 visitors during the broadcast (Mariner’s tickets, golf balls, free Back9 sim time) he also engaged in KP contests with all challengers during his commercial breaks and following the conclusion of the show. Needless to say … while we encourage all level of golfers to play @ Back9 we think its important that he keep his day job! 🙂 But Maybe that was his play all along? This guy is in it for the people … and the people enjoyed beating his pants off in the KP contest!

Softy lines up what proved to be one of the finest golf shots ever executed @ Back9. Seriously!

On a personal note too, the ownership enjoyed the KJRs engaging interactions with the youth of Back9. Softy gave shout outs to their schools and even let a couple of them interact on the show! These kids were beaming all night and surely had an experience they won’t forget.
